Azores Bio Gorreana Hysson Tea

Organic green tea, Hysson leaves, from São Miguel island, in the Azores, Gorreana tea garden. It is naturally produced from the first three leaves of the tea plant that are harvested in July and August, when the sun is strongest. It is a tea with a very low caffeine content, and has a soft, sweet and delicate flavour.

The terroir or tea garden of Gorreana - Azores, Portugal, is practically the only tea garden in Europe, and the oldest, producing tea from 1883 until today and having a completely handmade and organic process (free of insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, dyes and preservatives).
